The Edna Walling Gardens at Eurambeen

In the late 1920s the homestead was extended and in 1937, Theodore and Agnes commissioned Edna Walling to design their garden.

The Edna Walling Gardens at Eurambeen are delightful, with her signature stone walls, garden rooms and perennial plantings. Originally designed for the family, the gardens can be viewed by groups. The Eurambeen Gardens are also open to the public every two years and i available for weddings, and other events by arrangement.

After years of neglect, and with the help of the Australian Garden History Society, the three acre garden has now been fully restored by the current owners: Sarah Beaumont and Ian Glover

The current owners have the garden plans, the exchange of correspondence and accounts between Edna Walling, William Waters, William Train and Co. Pty. Ltd. and Theodore Beggs, 5 February – 14 August 1937, relating to a garden designed by Edna Walling and built by William Waters for the Beggs’ property “Eurambeen” at Beaufort.
